TONE SPORES MAIL ART LIMITED EDITION
TONE SPORES is synth based in tribute to our love of the Krautrock super group the Cosmic Jokers.

The album is also an experiment of sorts, as the music will live in the digital plane and the art for the music will live in the physical plane. This idea was inspired by the Mail Art movement. For those not familiar with this movement here's a little background for you from wikipedia...Mail art, also known as postal art and correspondence art, is an artistic movement centered on sending small-scale works through the postal service. It initially developed out of what eventually became Ray Johnson's New York Correspondence School and the Fluxus movements of the 1960s, though it has since developed into a global movement that continues to the present.

Those who purchase the Mail Art Edition, besides getting a download of the album, will also receive a unique one-of-a-kind postcard art piece created by Dave. Beside this item there will be cover artwork, album information and a personalized authentication letter. Another post will follow with photos of some of the pieces Dave has already put together for this edition. If this experiment goes well we'll do more in the future.

TONE SPORES is synth based in tribute to our love of the Krautrock super group the Cosmic Jokers. All of the music on the album was improvised and then edited into shape during the month of Spetember 2021. The title is TONE SPORES, which plays into the whimsical nature that was behind the Cosmic Jokers. As a plant spreads it's spores to begin again a new, these meditative tracks are seen by us as spores of tone to wash over the listener and foster inner growth for the individual.
