MITOSIS (/mai'toUsis/) is a prt of a cell cycle in white replicated chromosomes are separated into two nuclei. Cell division by mitosis gives rise to genetically identical cells in which the total number of chromosomes are maintained.

Songs, like cells, go through a process of division before taking shape. The music contained on the album are songs at various points in their division. Some themes in the music might sound familiar to your ears, others may not. In one form or another the end process of their division can be heard elsewhere in our catalog.
